About YBC

History

The Young Business Council was founded in September, 2003 by 11 board members and Floyd Takeuchi of PacificBasin Communications.

The purpose of the organization is to provide a networking and professional development organization for young professionals working in all industries.

Our Mission

The Young Business Council (YBC) is a Hawaii-based, non-profit, professional development organization consisting of young professionals working to learn and promote successful business practices and strategy, as well as providing venues for the discussion of current business and community topics.

The YBC helps prepare young professionals by enhancing their development of project management, communication, and leadership skills as well as providing networking opportunities across many industries through the planning, promotion and execution of various events throughout the year.
